Leasehold Enfranchisement

Over the last 15 years, our Specialist Valuers have built up considerable experience in dealing with statutory valuations concerning The Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, the Housing Act 1996 and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, which includes valuations for individual lease extensions and also collective freehold enfranchisement.

This includes valuations for individual lease extensions and also collective freehold enfranchisement and our aim is to provide a professional service based on our depth of knowledge and experience in this area of legislation, whilst at the same time offering clarity through what we understand is often a daunting and complicated process for our Client.

During this time we have acted for both Landlords and Tenants in the role of Advocate and Expert Witness, in numerous litigation cases and Leasehold Valuation Tribunal hearings, concerning disputes over property valuation and building defects.

Our experience ranges from representing a single leaseholder to negotiate their lease extension, to representing a Management Company made up of the individual under-leaseholders, in a collective purchase of a new long-leasehold interest in their central London Tower block, consisting of 36 flats and underground car parking.
