RICS Homebuyer Reports

Also known as a Homebuyer Report (HBR), this is a survey completed to a standard format set out by RICS. It is most suitable for conventional built properties built within the last 150 years, or purpose built or converted flats. This report includes an estimated cost of rebuilding the property for insurance purposes and a valuation of the property on the open market.

"Our surveyors' remit for a HBR is to advise the prospective purchaser on whether there are any significant, current structural defects or any other obvious environmental issues, evident at the time of inspection, which should adversely affect their decision to purchase the subject property and given the building and market conditions, what is a reasonable level of purchase price".
